John has been both Chair of the Schools Forum for the Local Authority and also Chair of Governors at three schools. He is active in the promotion and delivery of training for Governors.

As a Trustee of the MAT, John combines his awareness of policies and procedures along with his strategic vision to ensure that there is an overall consistency of ethos and values within each MAT school.
