Wade Deacon High School - Robot Winners!
Congratulations to Wade Deacon High Schools' Y9 & Y10 Robotics Team 'Prometheus' who competed in the First Tech Challenge 'More Than Robots' at De La Salle Academy on Saturday 1st February. They came away winning the Best Alliance trophy! Prometheus will now compete in the National Final in London on 27 & 28 March. Wonderful!
Halewood Academy had two award winners at this year's Knowsley Education Awards!
Well done to Katy Allen and our Future Female Leaders group who both won awards. Superb!
Katy won the award for Outstanding Achievement in a Secondary School and the Future Female Leaders, launched by Miss Gallagher, Mrs MacCallum and Miss Houghton, won the Transforming Lives Through Partnership Award.
Gary Kelly, CEO of the Wade Deacon Trust was in attendance along with Halewood Governors, Derek Darlington and Juliet Brown. It was a wonderful evening. Well done also to our 4 shortlisted nominees who were highly commended—Lillie Beth Kelly, Cian Ryan, Katie Schorah and Miss Catterall! You all did us proud!

Whiston Willis Primary Academy awarded the International School Award 2019-2022
We are extremely proud to announce that Whiston Willis have been awarded the International School Award for 2019-2022.
The application for this award comes as a result of two years of work to ensure the school develops understanding of internationalism and their ethos and curriculum promotes citizenship and an appreciation of cultural diversity.
