Capital Investment
During this academic year schools in the Wade Deacon Trust are undergoing various capital projects to upgrade and expand their facilities to support the delivery of excellent teaching and learning.
2020-2021
Yew Tree Primary Academy - DSP Play Area
During August 2021 the Trust funded outdoor improvements to Yew Tree Primary Academy's DSP play area.

Whiston Willis Primary Academy - Entrance/Reception, Admin and School Library
During the summer term the Trust funded building improvements to Whiston Willis Primary focusing on the school entrance and reception area and creating a new school library and staff work room. In addition the works refurbished existing spaces to create a new staff kitchen and cleaners store.

Hillside High School - External Works
Since June 2020, the Trust has been funding external improvements to the school frontage. The works include new windows, brick cleaning and repair and a new front entrance. As this work near completion, the Trust has taken the opportunity to redo the landscaping at the front and side of the school which compliments the refurbished frontage. The front of the building looks impressive and is welcoming to all who study, work or visit the school.

Hillside High School - Drama Hall
In October 2020 the Trust funded some refurbishments to the performance space at Hillside High School. The drama hall looks much cleaner and brighter and is a better space to support teaching and learning..

Widnes Academy - Flexible Performance Space
In August 2020 the Trust funded the removal of an old swimming pool at Widnes Academy. The large room has been converted into a large multi-use performance space that can support all areas of the school curriculum.
