
Wade Deacon Trust is celebrating another strong set of GCSE results this summer, with pupils achieving success right across the curriculum.
At Halewood Academy, a similar proportion of students achieved both English and Maths at grades 9-5 and 9-4 compared to last year, while improvements were made at grades 9-7.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of subjects saw improvements in attainment across a range of grade thresholds, with outcomes exceeding final forecasts.
Hillside High School also celebrated notable improvements in English and Maths at grades 4+ and 5+, with the school enjoying some of its strongest outcomes to date in Art and Photography, and continued success and improvement in Spanish, Business Studies and Sport.
The Class of 2026 at The Grange Academy secured a rise in the number of students achieving grade 4 in English, a grade 4 and 5 in maths, while students achieving 4+ and 5+ in maths and English combined also increased.
There was also improved results in Science Triology, Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages, as well as strong progress in many of the foundation subjects, such as Music, Child Development and Sports Science.
At Wade Deacon High School, results were broadly in line what the school had predicted, with over three quarters of all grades awarded were a grade 4 or above, and nearly two thirds of all entries awarded a Grade 5 or above.
On an individual level, two pupils at Wade Deacon High School achieved the exceptional accolade of a full suite of Grade 9s which is truly incredible achievement. Additionally, the school had a further six pupils who achieved eight Grade 9s: a remarkable achievement.
