Wade Deacon Omega Trust

This week marks a significant and exciting moment in our journey as we officially become Wade Deacon Omega Trust.

When we first discussed the possibility of a trust merger, it quickly became clear that the strong foundations that our two trusts have built over many years would offer a platform for a stronger and more sustainable trust that will create even better opportunities for our pupils.

Bringing together two organisations the size of ours has been a major undertaking which has required the highest level of co-operation and focus, and a clarity of vision.

Together, we now form a family of 17 schools serving more than 11,000 children and young people across Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Warrington.

As the first merger of its kind in the North West, we have created something genuinely unique, built upon the strengths, values and expertise that have made both trusts successful.

By combining the abundance of knowledge and talent that already exists across our schools, we can strengthen school improvement and share best practice more widely, having an even bigger impact on the communities we serve.

Everything we do will be driven by our shared Commitment to Excellence, ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of education, enriched by exciting opportunities to achieve their full potential.

Central to the continued success of our pupils is our schools and the people that make them such great places to learn, grow, teach and be part of.

Our schools will continue to be at the heart of their communities, retaining the individual identities and characteristics that make them special.

At the same time, they will benefit from the additional opportunities that come from being part of a larger and stronger family of schools.

This merger would not have been possible without the support of so many people. I would like to thank our pupils, staff, governors, trustees, members, parents, carers and wider school communities for their belief in our shared vision and for the role they have played in helping us reach this point.

I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together already, and even more excited about what we can achieve in the years ahead.

As we begin this new chapter as Wade Deacon Omega Trust, I look forward to working alongside you as we look to build on our successes and create even greater opportunities for the children and young people we are privileged to serve.
