Primary colleagues across Wade Deacon Trust participated in the Trust's first ever cross-Trust Inset Day at Yew Tree Primary Academy on Monday 24th February.
In line with the Trust's priority to promote and maintain a high-level of wellbeing among pupils and staff alike, it was fantastic to see so many colleagues, including support staff, engaging positively with sessions from Nourish the Workplace and Laughology.
A big thank you must go to Juliet Brown (Director of Primary Education at Wade Deacon Trust) and Laura Kirchin (Principal at Widnes Academy) for their role in organising the day which was hugely beneficial to over 200 Primary colleagues, as well as the hosts: colleagues at Yew Tree Primary Academy, including Principal, Becky O'Hanlon, for their organisation.
Juliet Brown, Director of Primary Education at Wade Deacon Trust commented: "I was delighted to see such positive engagement from colleagues for what was our first ever cross-Trust Inset Day.
"Colleagues shared such positive feedback, and I hope these sessions demonstrate how highly we as a Trust value the wellbeing of our staff and pupils.
"I want to thank Kimberley (Nourish the Workplace) and Jim (Laughology) for their work in delivering the sessions, colleagues at Yew Tree Primary Academy for hosting the event, and Laura Kirchin for the huge part she has played in helping to pull everything together for the utmost benefit of colleagues."
